Boat Fishing Monthly Test of StormCruiser

Simon Everett puts this sporty 23-footer through her paces and discovers just how stable and smooth a ride she is.

Those looking for a safe, stable, roomy and practical cruiser might like to consider the StormBreaker Cruiser built, of all places, on the Scottish island of Islay. Storm Cats have been around for a while now, producing small fishing type boats, but this model is one of those hidden gems that deserves to be brought to a wider audience for her practicality, stability and for the simple reason she is eminently affordable. I spent a full day on her in the waters of Islay enjoying the space and security aboard.
